- 3 cups water
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tsp garlic salt
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 3 cups instant mashed potatoes
- 1 cup French fried onions, crushed

- Use cooking spray to coat an 8 x 8 casserole pan.
- Boil water and remove from heat, adding milk, garlic salt, and sour cream; stir.
- Add instant mashed potatoes and stir briskly.
